Prayer is the primary means
of obtaining and nourishing a personal relationship with
God. Praying the Rosary is one of the best ways to enter
into the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. It is
in this contemplative prayer that we can nourish hope
for our families, church and world. The Blessed Mother
has promised that abundant graces will be poured out on
souls who way this prayer. Join us before each Mass as
we pray the Rosary and prepare for the gift of the

Rosary Group which meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at
7PM. Enjoy prayer, fellowship and refreshments. The
group meets at St. Joseph Chapel.
Anon Group has meetings Thursday evenings at 7PM at the
Barre Congregational church
The Bereavement Ministry is
available to members of the Parish when Fr. Jamie &
Deacon officiate to assist in collations at the time of
the loss of a loved one here at St. Francis. For more

SEMINAR FOR ENGAGED
The “God’s Plan for a
Joy-Filled Marriage” Seminar is a one day program for
engaged couples that uniquely presents the “Why’s behind
the What’s of Catholic teaching”, helping couples to
understand God’s plan for marriage and the joy of living
it. Attendance of this seminar is one of the
requirements for all couples preparing for marriage in
the Diocese of Worcester. It is recommended that couples
attend within the first few month of their year of
preparation. Pre-registration is required. Download our

Join us for a GROUP STUDY that delves into the
Most Holy Trinity!
WISDOM AND WORKS OF MERCY will

Christmas Fair in North Brookfield
Join us Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 am – 2 pm for a
Christmas Fair at St. Joseph Parish Hall, 296 Main
Street, North Brookfield. Bake Sale, Handmade Crafts,
Flea Market, Baskets and many other raffles. Lunch is
served from 11 am -1 pm featuring Homemade Soups,
Sandwiches and delicious Apple Pie!
Wedding Anniversary Mass
Bishop Robert J.
McManus will celebrate the Diocesan Wedding Anniversary
Mass on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 3 pm at the Cathedral of St.
Paul, Worcester. This liturgy of thanksgiving to God for
many years of faithful witness to the sacredness of
Christian marriage honors couples who are marking
significant anniversaries (25th, 50th, etc.) this year.
Couples wishing to attend should pre-register no later
than October 27 so that commemorative certificates may
be issued. To register, complete the form
contact the Office of Marriage and Family
Plans for the Holiday Fair are
moving forward. In addition to items previously
mentioned, we will
accept donations of jewelry -
necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings - and small gift
donations may be given to Sue Larose or
any Guild member. Since the items on this table are
all donated, all receipts are profit. We will also be
looking for donations of gift wrap in blue, white,
and silver to decorate and rewrap the display boxes on
the Chinese auction.
